विद्या भारती उमरांग्सू प्रकल्प द्वारा संचालित श्रीमती जमुनादेवी सरस्वती विद्या मंदिर की दशम् (10) कक्षा के विद्यार्थियों का "विदाई समारोह" संपन्न हुआ। कक्षा दशम् के विद्यार्थियों ने इस अवसर पर विद्यालय परिसर में वृक्षारोपण भी किया। विद्यार्थियों द्वारा विद्यालय को दिया यह उपहार विद्यालय ही नहीं , अपितु समाज के लिए भी उपहार है। 🖥⌨

विद्या भारती पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र द्वारा उमरांग्सू प्रकल्प के लिए तीन कम्प्यूटर प्रदान किए गए, जिनका अनावरण 'विदाई समारोह' के अवसर पर शिशु से दशम् तक शिक्षण पूर्ण करने वाले विद्यार्थियों ने किया।

Children are future of the nation. Children are assets of the society as well as the nation. The assets become more valuable if they are guided correctly and built their character and moral values with patriotism. In this regard, the Vidya Bharti has developed the ‘Shishu Vatika’ concept nationwide.

Smt. Jamuna Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir Umrangso (Run by Vidya Bharti Umrangso Project), which was established in 1987, took an initiative to start a Shishu Vatika in its campus. A separate school building along with a swimming pool for kids and some other playable items were constructed. The inaugural function was organized on 29th February 2016 at the Shishu Vatika premises. The program was started with lightening of lamp in front of Maa Saraswati by Major Varun Rathi, Assam Rifles Haflong Unit. On this occasion some cultural programs were performed by our students where students performed different tribes traditional dances like, Karbi, Dimasa, Nepali, Bodo, Jhumur and dance on patriotic and devotional theme songs.

The Shishu Vatika building was inaugurated by Shri Dharmendra Kr. Nath, Shishu Vatika incharge of North East region. In his speech Major Varun Rathi encouraged the students for their studies. He insisted students to do good for their family, society and nation.

Shri Dharmendra Kr. Nath explained about the concept and significance of Shishu Vatika. In his address to public, Shri Yogendra Sing Shisodia, Assistant Organising Secretary of South Assam explained about the aim and functionary of Vidya Bharti, the role of Vidya Bharti schools in social reform and nation building. He also focused on the future planning of this school.

At the Time of  "Suryoday 2016- Annual Function" and inauguration of new Saraswati Shishu Vatika of Vidya Bharti Umrangso Project. Dimasa, Karbi, Bodo, Nepali, Tea Tribe, traditional Dances and their songs were presented. Their postures and action shows the rich cultural heritage .Tribes of North East always maintain the gracefulness in their dances.

PM addresses Principals of "Vidya Bharati" at Vigyan Bhawan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged the school principals of Vidya Bharti, the educational wing of RSS, to work towards addressing the social challenges.

“Vidya Bharti can be a catalyst for the change. Principals should work towards instilling excellence in every aspect of students’ lives so that image of the institution can be further raised,” Modi said at Akhil Bharatiya Pracharya Sammelan organised by the Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan.

The prime minister asked the principals (pracharyas) to work to prepare sportspersons who could win gold medals at the 2020 Olympics.

“We should focus how the schools of Vidya Bharti reach the top. We succeeded in expanding the number of schools but what about quality. Let’s make one Vidya Bharti in every state and make it the top school in that state. Why can’t we prepare sportspersons who could win gold medals at the olympics,” he said.

Modi said that students of Vidya Bharati schools can also work towards bringing positive changes in society especially in areas such as cleanliness and energy conservation.

“Can children from our schools become ambassadors for energy conservation and cleanliness campaign? There are 35 lakh students in Vidya Bharti and if a student go to a single family and pushes them for using LED bulbs, we can save 25000 MW of power,” Modi said.

The prime minister emphasised the need to use technology in all aspects of education and to take full advantage of the benefits it offers.

He urged the principals to become torch-bearers of positivity.

Union Minister for Human Resource and Development Smriti Irani was also present on the occasion.

Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan is the educational wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that runs a network of schools across the country.
